Three ways to use it

You choose how the calculators reach your clients.

You do not build the calculators, and you do not rebuild your website. CalcStudio is not DIY calculator-building software — it is a maintained platform you put to work immediately.

Run them yourself

Log in and use the full calculator library from the web. Sit beside a client in a meeting, save the scenario under their name and send a branded report afterwards. No website required.

Embed them in your site

Drop one calculator, or several, straight into the relevant pages of your existing website. No rebuild, no developer project — the enquiries land in your workspace.

We brand a page for you

Choose the calculators you want and we build and host a branded hub for you. You link to it from your site or your social profiles and it stays maintained, current and compliant.

What you get

Everything in the platform.

  • Adviser login and workspace
  • Full calculator library, professionally built and maintained
  • Saved client and prospect scenarios with the numbers attached
  • Branded client reports for proposals and follow-up
  • Public share links for before or after a meeting
  • Website embeds with adviser-owned enquiry capture
  • Export enquiries and saved calculations
  • Assumptions kept current, so trust stays intact

Why it works

  • 88%

of surveyed users of New Zealand's Sorted site named calculators the most popular part of it, and using a tool was the top reason for visiting.

  • 2m+

sessions a year on Sorted in a country of five million people — and 5 million Australians used the government's Moneysmart calculators in a single financial year.

  • ~60%

of new New Zealand home loans are now originated through the adviser channel — people want a human, but they do their own maths first.

  • 81%

of new Australian residential home loans were settled through brokers in the March 2026 quarter, up from 55% in 2018. The UK and Netherlands also sit above 80%.

  • Ungated

Research found people resent paying with their details for an answer they worked out themselves. Show the result, then trade a branded summary for contact details.

How we build them

Seven things separate a calculator that starts conversations from one that gathers dust.

Independent trials found that a calculator which simply returns a projection changes almost nothing, while one that frames the gap and lets someone move the inputs shifted real behaviour. Every CalcStudio calculator is built to the second pattern.

  • Three to five inputs to a first result — ask for detail once they are interested.
  • Sliders with instantly updating results, because exploration is the point.
  • Works backwards as well as forwards: "what can I afford at $900 a fortnight" is as common as "what does $600,000 cost me".
  • The answer is free. The branded summary is what is worth an email address.
  • The word calculator in the page title, so search traffic lands on the tool.
  • Embedded on the relevant page — not a pop-up, not buried on a separate tools page.
  • Assumptions shown and kept current, because trust is the whole product.

Search engines now send far fewer people to websites — the share of Google searches producing a click fell by roughly 22% between 2024 and 2026. So treat a calculator as a relationship tool, not a traffic magnet. An AI can answer a basic repayment sum. What it cannot do is hold your client's scenarios, sit on the screen beside you in a meeting, or produce a branded summary with your name on it that your client forwards to their partner that evening.

Where CalcStudio ends

Clear boundaries, so you know what you are buying.

CalcStudio is the adviser's calculator, report and enquiry product. Enquiries it captures are yours. It is not a full CRM or advice platform at launch, and it does not own the public lead inventory created by MyRateCheck and HMCIB — that is distributed to advisers through Client Connection.
